Dearest Liam,

Hello my sweet nephew! I just saw your new video. Gawd, you're walking so well na. It's amamzing! Your cousin Heaven is still trying her best to balance and walk on her own. It's so scary for me. I think it's also scary for your mom.

How are you? How many teeth do you have now? Heaven has 5 and I think she will be coming out with 1 more soon. She was at the hospital recently. Awful time.

How many words do you know now? Heaven knows "mama", "mamam" (drinks), "aw-aw" (dog), "moo" (cow, we have lots of them here), "ish" (shoes), "ba" (her doll Barbra) and "bu" (balls, balloon, bear, the color blue. Anything that starts with the letter B except for her doll Barbra). By the way, thank you for the Christmas gifts. Heaven particularly liked Raggedy Ann.

I can't stay long. I have to work. I just wanted to let you know that Tita Jingjing is here, missing your mom, your Tito Josh, Tita Echong and G-Ma. Take care always and be a good boy. Heaven also sends her love.

Dearest Kuya Liam,

How are you? It was so nice to see you on cam today. Good job for learning how to walk and answer the question, "How old are you?".Heaven misses you so much. She keeps on kissing your pillow. Hehehehehe...lablab kuya Liam always.

Anyways, I just wrote to say that we miss you a lot. Please be a good boy, now that your Mama will soon start to work online like me. Heaven is now sleeping but she dreams of playing with you soon.

My Chickenpox Shot

Hello Liam,

Mama's here again to share something to you. :-)

Today is October 11, 2010 and you are now a year old and two weeks. :-) 
This morning I brought you to your pedia for your chickenpox vaccination. We arrived at the clinic at around 10am, we were earlier than the doctor and fourth in line. While we were waiting outside, Mama and Yaya Josie were sitting at the bench while you were standing between us. You were eating your bread sticks while babbling words and at the same time not wanting to drink water. Your were very 'matakaw' because you keep on putting bread sticks on your mouth knowing that your mouth was still full. It's as if Mama will eat all of your biscuits hehehe. ;-)

About half an hour ago, the doctor arrived. We were still waiting outside for our turn and then when we were called by the secretary, your mood was suddenly changed. From being wild and happy to being suddenly quiet. It's as if you already knew what will gonna happen hehe.After being checked physically by Dr. Bayhon, the most feared moment came, the syringe was just a few steps away from us. I was holding you so tight worried that you will cry hard, and then poof!

It was done! You didn't cry at all! Hooray for my Liam!! :-)

I thank God again for the strength and courage He bestowed to you that very moment.

Hello dear Liam. How are you? I am glad to be here to see you take your first few steps without any help from us. It's amazing that you're now 1 year old and it's scary to realize that Heaven will soon follow your footsteps.

I am truly proud to be your aunt because you are such a smart boy! I love it that you know how to kiss (you kiss Heaven a lot but you don't kiss me. humph!), how to give stuff, push buttons (please stop turning off the TV when we are watching a show) and when you play with Heaven by putting on make-up on her (G-Ma's fault!).

I also noticed that you are learning how to throw a tantrum. That is not a good thing so when your Mama tells you to behave, please listen to her, ok?

A visit to My Pediatrician

Last September 27, 2010, I brought you to Dr. William Bayhon, your Pedia, for a check-up. You are now weighing 9.1 kilos 75cm long... You're much heavier now! He checked your chest and back, both normal, though you had slight colds. I wish it will go away soon.. He also requested that you undergo a CBC with platelet count to rule-out dengue as you had an on & off fever the past days.. and good to know that the results indicated that it was just viral. I was really scared and worried.

Oh Liam, don't be like Mama, very weak physically. I will always pray to God that He blesses you with a healthy body. :-)

1st Letter to My Grandson

Dearest Bengbeng Liam,

It's been a year now and I just couldn't believe how much you have grown..It has been a wonderful, challenging, exciting, blessed year for the whole Kho family!!.. Bengbeng dear, I hope and always pray that you grow in the love and care of the Lord as you are now facing your first year in life..Always remember that G-ma & G-pa will be around to guide you and teach you to the best we can..

Liam's 1st Birthday

Hi Liam!!

Last Saturday, September 25, 2010, was your 1st birthday! It was full of surprises and FUN!! Everybody enjoyed your party beng :) Our ever dearest Tria family, Crossway family, your Dyeal and Bingay co-parents, all of them were very happy to celebrate and witness that day as you turned 1 year old. :)

Partor Eugene Guzon, was the one who gave the blessings to the co-parents as you were sleeping at that time hehe. As he said, it was good because you were feeling so secured around everyone that's why you didn't even bother snobbing everyone as you went to sleep. hehehe.

Tita Chichi was the one who gave the opening prayer and Tita Joyce, the closing prayer. Oh Liam, you are really blessed to be surrounded by them :))

After the blessing of the co-parents, Ninang Jaja started the party with the first game, a trivia game all about you dear. There were two couple teams, team1, Ptr. Eugene and Tita Lulu, the other team, Tita Josel and Tito Peter, and the winning team....... the Castro couple!!! Hooraay!!! :D

The second game was entitled the PINAKA game (usually the Bring Me Game with a twist according to Tita jing). The two teams were composed of Mama's High School barkada versus Mama's College barkada. And the winning team this time,  the Highschool friends!!! :) After the two games, lunch was served by Mama and the waitress, with the help of G-Ma of course. Hehe. They all ate except for me, you know naman Mama is very "maasikaso" with the guests, hehehe. ;)

After eating, Ninang Jaja started game 3, it was Tita Jing's turn to shine!! hehehe.  The 3rd game was all about songs from Disney movies and then the contestants will guess the title of the movie where the song was played. Tita Jing was the one who sang the songs. What a nice voice Tita Jing!! :)

And then after the guessing of the movie title game, the last game Ninang Jaja prepared was the "Name Game". The contestants this time was our Crossway family members versus combined HS and College friends of Mama. It was really fun and exciting, we were all excited who will win the game, and the winning team........combined HS and College friends.

But it was a nice game, our Crossway family were good sports. :)

And then, the last part of the party, of course, the Birthday song for Liam!!! :) and the blowing of the candle!!!
